Score with Markers
Markers are a powerful scoring feature in Logic Pro X that allows you to visually identify the key beats in your story. In this example, Mark shows you how to use Logic’s Scene Cut Marker detection to automatically insert markers at each cut point in your video.
Make Quick Tempo Changes
Telling a good story is all about pacing. You’ll learn how to quickly apply tempo changes to specific sections of your score that will enhance your visuals and underscore emotion.
Record a Virtual Instrument
Stock music often takes too long to find a good fit for your movie, and has the risk of sounding canned. You’ll learn how to use a MIDI keyboard and virtual instruments to record a professional synth track to your visuals.
Sweeten Your Score
Once all your tracks are in place, you’ll use Logic’s automated mixing tools to adjust volume levels, panning and applied effects. Additionally, Mark will show you how to work with effects like EQs, compressors and reverb effects for sweetening your soundtrack.
