Introducing RT Tracking Essentials
RT Tracking Essentials is a collection of 9 titles and 3 effects that are built for Final Cut Pro 10.6’s object tracker. Use the Hider to obscure faces or logos, and the Cloner to remove objects from a shot. Use Arrows, Lines, and Shapes with optional text to point out moving objects – including highlighting them with blend modes. Use Think & Talk and Emojis to track some humor into your shots. Get Your Viewer’s Attention
It’s fairly common to use arrows, circles, squares and other graphics to call out subjects in your shots, and our plugin provides a number of options to make these tasks easy and fast.
Hide Anyone or Anything
The Hider effect is great for blurring or obscuring a face or a logo. Just drag it onto a clip, add a shape mask, then track it. It couldn’t be simpler.
Track Useful Shapes
RT Tracking Essentials comes with a number of useful shapes you can apply as titles that include optional text that can be placed anywhere relative to your tracked shape.
Make Objects Disappear
The Cloner effect will allow you to quickly remove small objects like dead pixels, dust on the lens and even large objects like the one in this video.

I’ve used Ripple’s cloner from the Ripple Tools Complete package in the past to hide blemishes in Video, but Using the Cloner Tool in the RT Tracking Essentials Bundle was just fantastic.
In a convocation speech, one tiny speck of white lint was on a distinguished speakers black robes… Your eyes were drawn to this tiny white dot. I tracked the 10 minute speech, adjusted the clone and was done in ten minutes. I’ve done this kind of masking before with dents in a wall, a paint blemish on a background or losing an offensive sticker on a wooden dais, but that’s taken me much longer, in some cases up to an hour for a speech.
This plug-in has paid for itself 5 times over in the last week. Outstanding… and my thanks.
