Introducing RT TimeWarps
RT TimeWarps is a collection of Final Cut Pro time-based frame-repeating effects implemented as titles for easy application, trimming, and adjustment. Use them to reduce a clip’s frame rate, add subtle or extreme motion blur, and create echo and trailing effects on moving subjects.

Drop Frames on Purpose
RT TimeWarps are a set of 5 Final Cut Pro title effects that manipulate time by repeating frames. Super Strobe, for example, will allow you to reduce the frame rate of a clip by adjusting the strobe rate. Go as low as 1 frame per second and add optional dissolves between frames.
Add Motion Blur
Motion blur is often added to a moving subject to make it appear more natural. Simply connect our Motion Blur title effect above a clip that has a fast moving object (or objects) and you’re done.
Reiterate Your Frames
Echo Blend, Wide Time and Super Trails creates multiple instances of a clip’s frames over time, but each works in a different way to produce different types of time-based looks.

Nice plugins, as usual with RT plugins, they are super easy to use. I really like the quick tip check box that give in a short form all the response of what I was asking myself on each plugins, as when to use this one, or for what purpose and how. That’s a very cool quick access online help.
Only issue is that the rendering is quite heavy, so this kill the realtime playing and force rendering first to playback. Will be really nice on FCPX to be able to momentally disable all heavy duty rendering plugins to just playback and be able to re-enable all in one click… Not sure we can but that might become a 60s tip if there is a way 🙂
