How does this App tutorial differ from tutorials purchased on the website?

This is a tutorial that can be watched as stand-alone App on any Mac or watched directly from within Final Cut Pro X via the Workflow Extension window. We refer to this method of delivery as “learning Final Cut Pro from within Final Cut Pro.”

Because of the way Final Cut Pro accesses our app, it must be purchased and installed from the Mac App Store.

What version of Mac OS do I need to be running?

The App is compatible with Mac OS 10.10 or later as a stand-alone Mac App. However, in order to use it as a Workflow Extension, you’ll need Mac OS 10.14.3 or later, and Final Cut Pro 10.4.4 or later.

Can I use my Ripple Coupons on the App Store?

Ripple coupons can only be used to purchase tutorials sold on our website.

I find this app tutorial to be excellent. It’s a great idea to be able to watch the videos while at the same being able to easily follow along on FCPX and edit on the provided clips. There’s so much valuable information and great tips I didn’t know that I’ve gone back and rewatched some of the videos because there is so much to take in. I love Steve’s relaxed but enthusiastic delivery style too.
